ABC FAMILY's ALICE IN ARABIA
  • Just days after giving a pilot order to the drama from writer Brooke Eikmeier, ABC Family has decide to pull the plug on the project after controversy emerged from Muslim advocacy groups about their prospective portrayals in the project. "The current conversation surrounding our pilot was not what we had envisioned and is certainly not conductive to the creative process, so we've decided not to move forward with this project," the network said in a statement.
CBS' THE ODD COUPLE
  • Lindsay Sloane (Mr. Sunshine, Playing House) has been cast on the comedy pilot starring Matthew Perry and Thomas Lennon. She will play Lindsay, the tightly wound, recently divorced sister of Katie (Georgia King).
NBC's STATE OF AFFAIRS
