Casting News - 'Battle Creek' Adds 'Justified's Damon Herriman; 'Mad Men' Alum Boards 'Survivor's Remorse'; Plus 1 More Update!

CBS' Battle Creek; Showtime's Californication; and Starz's Survivor's Remorse.

  • Justified's Damon Herriman has boarded the upcoming drama in a recurring role. He will play Detective Niblet, a nice guy who is a cop with the Battle Creek Police Department who looks up to Detective Funkhauser (Kal Penn) and embraces his style.
  • Additionally, Bryan Singer (House, X-Men) has signed on to direct the first episode as well as serve as an executive producer on the series.
  • RonReaco Lee (Let's Stay Together) and Teyonah Parris (Mad Men) have been cast on the upcoming comedy series. Lee will play Reggie Vaughn, Cam's cousin and confidant who moves to Georgia with him on his journey to success. Parris will play Missy, Reggie's wife, the kind of woman who commands immediate attention and is her husband's equal in every way.
  • Tara Holt will appear on the seventh and final season of the dramedy series in a recurring role. She will play Melanie, Rick Rath's (Michael Imperioli) gorgeous assistant whose presence causes a commotion in the writers room.
