Casting News - Charlotte Rampling Joins 'Broadchurch' for Season 2; 'The Odd Couple' Loses Duo; Plus 2 More Updates!

BBC America's Broadchurch; CBS' The Odd Couple; FOX's Empire; and HBO's Girls.





BBC AMERICA's BROADCHURCH
  • Charlotte Rampling (Dexter) has joined the cast of the drama for its upcoming second season. Details on her character are being kept under wraps.
FOX's EMPIRE
  • Ilene Chaiken - creator of Showtime's The L Word and showrunner of ABC's Black Box - has joined the midseason drama series starring Terrence Howard and Taraji P. Henson as executive producer/showrunner.
HBO's GIRLS
  • Marin Ireland (Homeland, The Divide) has landed a recurring role on the comedy's fourth season. She will play Logan, a rich, sexual, beautiful but cold classmate of Hannah's (Lena Dunham) at the Iowa Writer's Workshop.
CBS' THE ODD COUPLE
  • Georgia King and Sarah Baker are both exiting the comedy series for creative reasons. Their roles will be recast. King played Katie, a model who lives in Oscar (Matthew Perry) and Felix's (Thomas Lennon) building. Baker played Sam, Oscar's assistant.
