Casting News - Gillian Jacobs Lands Recurring Role on 'Girls'; Neal McDonough Boards 'Suits'; Plus 2 More Updates!

HBO's Girls; Netflix's Untitled KZK Drama; TNT's Major Crimes; and USA's Suits.





NETFLIX's UNTITLED KZK DRAMA
  • Chloë Sevigny (Those Who Kill) and Steven Pasquale (Do No Harm) have been tapped for recurring roles on the upcoming drama. Sevigny will play Chelsea, who has a romantic past with Danny (Ben Mendelsohn) and whose brother Eric (Jamie McShane), out on parole, is living with her in their shack of a home. Pasquale will play a potential romantic interest for Meg (Linda Cardellini).
HBO's GIRLS
  • Gillian Jacobs is the first Community star to book a role on a new series with a recurring role on the upcoming fourth season of the dramedy. She will play a character named Mimi-Rose Howard. All other character details are being kept under wraps. She's set to debut in the fifth episode of the season.
TNT's MAJOR CRIMES
  • Azita Ghanizada (Alphas) and Andy Daly (Review) have booked guest roles on the upcoming third season of the hit drama. Ghanizada will play Angela Soames, an employee at a potentially shady cryogenic facility. Daly will reprise his role from The Closer as wannabe detective Richard "Dick" Tracy in the same episode.
  • Also set to return during the third season are recurring guest stars Jon Tenney, Malcolm-Jamal Warner, Tom Berenger, Bill Brochtrup, Ransford Doherty and Kathe Mazur.
USA's SUITS
  • Neal McDonough (Desperate Housewives, Justified) has been tapped for a recurring role on the fourth season of the hit drama. He will play Sean Cahill, who is not so much an SEC investigator as he is a bulldog. Tasked by Eric Woodall (Zeljko Ivanek) to uncover wrongdoing at Pearson Specter, Cahill will go toe-to-toe with anyone.
