SYFY's THE MAGICIANS
- Mike Cahill (Another Earth) has been tapped to direct the pilot for the adaptation of Lev Grossman's book series penned by John McNamara and Sera Gamble.
USA's STANISTAN
- Dexter alum Jennifer Carpenter has been tapped to topline the drama pilot from writer Andy Parker. She will play Public Affairs Officer Marcie Post, the daughter of a well-respected diplomat and the newly appointed spin-master for all US Government activity in the country of Stanistan.
AMAZON's POINT OF HONOR
- Chris O'Shea and James Harvey Ward have been cast as series regulars on the drama pilot from Carlton Cuse and Randall Wallace. O'Shea will play Robert Sumner, a Lieutenant in the Union army and husband of Virginian Lorelei Rhodes (Riley Voelkel). Ward will play Cutler, the cruel, heartless overseer of the slaves working in the Rodes' fields.
AMAZON's THE MAN IN THE HIGH CASTLE
- Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa (Revenge) has booked a regular role on the drama pilot from Frank Spotnitz. He will play Tagomi, the head of Japan's Trade Mission to San Francisco who is really a spy and works with Nazi double agent Rudolph Wegener to collect valuable intelligence on the Third Reich's every move.
