Casting News - Dominic Purcell Reunites with Wentworth Miller for 'The Flash'; Sara Rue to Recur on 'Mom'; Plus 3 More Updates!

CBS' Mom; The CW's The Flash; FOX's New Girl; NBC's The Blacklist; and TNT's Major Crimes.





TNT's MAJOR CRIMES
  • Alex Carter (CSI) and Carlos Bernard (24) have booked guest roles on the hit drama's third season. Carter will play Ronald Glover, an affluent man whose wife's dream is to have a baby and they go about it through a surrogate, only for things to take a nightmarish turn. Bernard will play Pete Sims, a celebrity driver and recovering substance abuser who is trying to stay on the wagon.
CBS' MOM
  • Sara Rue (Malibu Country) will recur on the second season of the hit comedy. She will play Candace, Baxter's (Matt Jones) new girlfriend who is smart, successful and has her life very much together.
  • Additionally, veteran actor Ed Asner will appear in an upcoming episode as Jack, a tenant in the new apartment building that Bonnie (Allison Janney) and Christy (Anna Faris) move into.
NBC's THE BLACKLIST
  • Norm Lewis (Scandal) has been tapped for a recurring role on the hit drama's second season. He will play J.P. Laskin, an associate of Red's (James Spader) who doesn't agree with his tactics towards Berlin (Peter Stormare) and may be tempted to switch sides.
FOX's NEW GIRL
  • Erinn Hayes (Childrens Hospital) will guest star on an upcoming episode of the comedy's fourth season. She will play Ruth, the slightly ditzy and trashy school nurse who's having a fling with Coach (Damon Wayans, Jr.) despite the new "no fraternization" policy Jess (Zooey Deschanel) must now enforce as Vice Principal.
THE CW's THE FLASH
  • Dominic Purcell will reunite with his Prison Break co-star Wentworth Miller on the new fall drama. Debuting in the 10th episode, Purcell will play Mick Rory, a pyromaniac who finds an outlet for his obsession with fire when he teams up with Leonard Snart/Captain Cold (Miller) and becomes the villain known as Heat Wave.
