CBS has given full season orders to all four of its new fall dramas, Madam Secretary, NCIS: New Orleans, Scorpion and Stalker. According to the network, these pickups include three of the top four new shows launched on television this season, and three series that rank among the top 15 of all primetime programs.
"These four shows have had an immediate impact on our schedule by improving nights, winning time periods and adding more hours of success across our primetime lineup," said Nina Tassler, Chairman of CBS Entertainment.
NCIS: New Orleans stars Scott Bakula, Lucas Black, Zoe McLellan, CCH Pounder and Rob Kerkovich. Gary Glasberg, Mark Harmon, Jeffrey Lieber and James Hayman are the executive producers for CBS Television Studios.
Scorpioin stars Elyes Gabel, Robert Patrick, Katharine McPhee, Eddie Kaye Thomas, Jadyn Wong and Ari Stidman. Alex Kurtzman, Roberto Orci, Nick Santora, Nicholas Wootton, Justin Lin, Heather Kadin, Scooter Braun and Walter O'Brien are the executive producers for CBS Television Studios.
Madam Secretary stars Téa Leoni, Tim Daly, Bebe Neuwirth, Zeljko Ivanek, Patina Miller, Erich Bergen, Geoffrey Arend, Katherine Herzer, Evan Roe and Wallis Currie-Wood. Barbara Hall, Lori McCreary, Morgan Freeman and David Semel serve as executive producers for CBS Television Studios and Revelations Entertainment.
Stalker stars Maggie Q, Dylan McDermott, Victor Rasuk, Mariana Klaveno and Elisabeth Röhm. Kevin Williamson is the executive producer for Warner Bros. Television.
None of the full season orders are particularly surprising. Madam Secretary is the only one with which I've made an effort to keep up on subsequent episodes. Picking up all of their new fall dramas will make things just a little bit harder for CBS as they schedule a midseason lineup - which will include the debuts of new dramas Battle Creek and CSI: Cyber and miniseries The Dovekeepers.
