TNT Cancels 'Perception' After 3 Seasons

TNT has opted to cancel drama Perception after three seasons. The drama returns for its final five episodes of its third and final season on Tuesday, February 17 at 10/9c.

The drama - created by Kenneth Biller and Mike Sussman - centered on Dr. Daniel Pierce (Eric McCormack), an eccentric neuroscience professor with paranoid schizophrenia, who is recruited by the FBI to help solve complex cases. Rachael Leigh Cook, Arjay Smith, LeVar Burton, Kelly Rowan and Scott Wolf co-starred on the drama from ABC Studios.

The cancellation news comes days after the cable network also canceled veteran legal dramedy Franklin & Bash after four seasons. The network is currently undergoing a regime change with former FOX president Kevin Reilly taking over control of the network's direction with plans to develop noisier original series.
