FOX's SCREAM QUEENS
- Emma Roberts (American Horror Story) and Jamie Lee Curtis (New Girl) have been tapped to play lead roles on the upcoming comedy-horror anthology series. No details were immediately released on the characters they will be playing.
THE CW's THE FLASH
- Star Wars star Mark Hamill will appear in the 17th episode of the drama's first season to play a new version of the Trickster, a role he first played in the original 1990s Flash TV series. On The CW series, the Trickster is a con man living out a life sentence at Iron Heights who Barry (Grant Gustin) and Joe (Jesse L. Martin) seek out for help when a copycat attacks the city.
MTV's SHANNARA
- Austin Butler (The Carrie Diaries) has booked the male lead on the upcoming drama. He will play Wil Ohmsford, who is half human and half elf. Kind, thoughtful and likable, he has an appealing self-deprecating manner, but his easygoing life is about to be turned upside down when he learns that he is the last of the legendary Shannara family. Charged with finding the Druid who will guide him to his destiny, Will realizes his dangerous journey is just beginning.
