TV Land Cancels 'The Exes' After 4 Seasons

TV Land has opted to cancel veteran comedy series The Exes after four seasons, it was announced late Monday night by star Kristen Johnston on Twitter. TV Land confirmed the news early this morning. The show will air its series finale on Wednesday, September 16.

Created by Mark Reisman, the comedy centered on three divorced men living in a New York City apartment owned by their divorce attorney.

In addition to Johnston, the cast also included Donald Faison, Wayne Knight, David Alan Basche and Kelly Stables.

The Exes hails from Mark Reisman Productions and Acme Productions. Executive producers include Mark Reisman, Franco E. Bario, Michael Hanel, Mindy Schultheis, Larry W. Jones and Keith Cox.

The cancellation news means the end of an era of multi-camera sitcoms for TV Land. Hot in Cleveland ended its long run earlier this year while The Soul Man was renewed for a short fifth and final season just a few weeks ago.
