Casting News - September 17, 2015

ABC's Wicked City; CBS' Blue Bloods, Elementary & Limitless; and FOX's Grandfathered, New Girl & Scream Queens.

FOX's SCREAM QUEENS
  • Alan Thicke (Growing Pains), Julia Duffy (Newhart) and Chad Michael Murray (One Tree Hill) will appear on the upcoming comedy-horror series. Thicke and Duffy will play Chad (Glen Powell) and Thad Radwell's (Patrick Schwarzenegger) parents. Murray will play Brad, Chad and Thad's older brother.
CBS' BLUE BLOODS
  • ER star Anthony Edwards has booked a guest role on an upcoming episode of the drama's sixth season. He will play Owen Cairo, a stolid, square man whose life is turned upside down when his prized possession, the 1968 Mustang allegedly driven by Steve McQueen in the movie Bullitt, goes missing.
ABC's WICKED CITY
  • Vincent Ventresca (Friends, Romy and Michelle's High School Reunion) has joined the cast of the upcoming drama in a recurring role. He will play Jimmy, Betty's (Erika Christensen) ex-boyfriend.
CBS' ELEMENTARY
  • John Heard (Home Alone) will guest star on an upcoming episode of the drama's fourth season. He will play Watson's (Lucy Liu) stepfather).
CBS' LIMITLESS
  • Tom Degnan (Madam Secretary) will recur on the upcoming drama series starring Jake McDorman. He will play Agent Ike, a physically fit FBI agent in charge of watching over Brian (McDorman).
FOX's GRANDFATHERED
  • Review star Andy Daly has landed a recurring role on the upcoming comedy series starring John Stamos. He will play Bruce, an all-American, fleece-wearing dad who is back in town after working as an aeronautical engineer in China for years. Bruce used to date Sara (Paget Brewster) off an on when Gerald (Josh Peck) was a kid and, in many ways, he served as a surrogate father. While Bruce is well-mannered and a little dorky, he can seemingly do anything, which drives Jimmy (Stamos) crazy.
FOX's NEW GIRL
  • Megan Fox (Transformers) is set to appear in multiple episodes of the comedy's upcoming fifth season. She will play Reagan, a gorgeous, straight-shooting pharmaceutical sales rep who comes to town on business and shakes things up in the loft when she rents out Jess' (Zooey Deschanel) room while she is sequestered on jury duty. She will debut in Episode 6 - aka the one episode of the season Deschanel will miss due to her maternity leave.
