BBC AMERICA's DOCTOR WHO
- Alex Kingston is set to reprise her role as Professor River Song in the veteran drama's upcoming annual Christmas special. The network teased her appearance with the following release: "It's Christmas Day in the future and the TARDIS is parked on a snowy village street, covered in icicles, awaiting its next adventure. Time traveler River Song meets her husband's new incarnation, in the form of Peter Capaldi, for the first time this Christmas."
CBS' SUPERGIRL
- 24 alum Glenn Morshower has been tapped to play General Sam Lane on the drama's upcoming first season. On the drama, General Lane is a powerful military lifer and an overprotective father to both Lucy Lane (Jenna Dewan Tatum) and her sister, Lois. His arrival in National City stirs up trouble for Supergirl (Melissa Benoist) when he enlists her in a dangerous government initiative.
NETFLIX's LADY DYNAMITE
- The upcoming comedy starring Maria Bamford has lined up an impressive list of talent to appear in its first season (debuting in 2016) including Patton Oswalt, Sarah Silverman, Jenny Slate, Jon Cryer, Adam Pally, June Diane Raphael, Tig Notaro, Brandon Routh and Mira Sorvino.
FXX's YOU'RE THE WORST
- Echo Kellum (Ben and Kate, Sean Saves the World) has booked a recurring role on the comedy's upcoming second season. He will play Tall Nathan, a member of the improv group Edgar (Desmin Borges) joins. Good-natured and always down to be part of the joke, Nathan is a self-appointed leader who thinks the funniest thing in the world is pulling his testicles out of his pants.
NETFLIX's LUKE CAGE
- Sons of Anarchy alum Theo Rossi has joined the cast of the upcoming drama starring Mike Colter as a series regular. He will play Shades, Luke Cage's (Colter) enemy, a criminal who is relentless, menacing, smooth, manipulative, street smart and controlling.
FOX's MINORITY REPORT
- Andrew J. West (The Walking Dead, Under the Dome) will appear on the drama's upcoming first season. He will play a very elegant and wealthy alpha male playboy who has a run-in with Dash (Stark Sands) and Vega (Meagan Good) when Dash cliques with one of his favorite executives.
EPIX's GRAVES
- Skylar Astin (Ground Floor), Chris Lowell (Veronica Mars) and Angelica Maria (Sea of Dreams) have joined the cast of the upcoming comedy starring Nick Nolte and Susan Sarandon. Astin will play Isaiah Miller, a neurotic, overly eager assistant who goes to work for his political hero at the exact moment former President Graves (Nolte) is tearing apart his own legacy. Lowell will play Jeremy, Graves' son, an underachiever who returns from the war in Afghanistan to decide his life's direction amid the everyday chaos of living with his family. Maria will play Ramona, the wry housekeeper who was worked for Graves since before he was elected and has grown desensitized to the daily dramas within the household.
