CBS' THE GOOD WIFE
- Vanessa Williams (Desperate Housewives, Ugly Betty) has been cast in a recurring role on the drama's upcoming seventh season. She will play Courtney Boalt, an extremely successful, self-made businesswoman who is potentially interested in backing Peter Florrick's (Chris Noth) campaign for president. While exploring the campaign, she sparks an attraction with Eli Gold (Alan Cumming).
SHOWTIME's TWIN PEAKS
- Balthazar Getty (Brothers & Sisters) has joined the cast of the upcoming continuation of the hits '90s drama. No details were immediately released about the character he will be playing - even if it's someone new or stepping into an existing role.
TNT's THE LAST SHIP
- Kevin Michael Martin and Bren Foster have been promoted to series regular status for the drama's upcoming third season. Martin appeared in the first two seasons as Eric Miller, the well-intentioned seaman and the youngest member of Cobra team. Foster joined the show in Season 2 as Wolf Taylor, an Australian naval operator who joined the crew in Norfolk.
