FOX's midseason comedy Cooper Barrett's Guide to Surviving Life earned a surprising series pickup back in May. The network only ordered 6 episodes then. But now, FOX is giving the comedy another vote of confidence - ordering 7 additional episodes, bringing the season's total to 13.
Created by Jay Lacopo, Cooper Barrett's Guide to Surviving Life centers on 26-year-old Cooper Barrett (Jack Cutmore-Scott) who uses cautionary tales from his own life, episode by episode, to help the youth of America survive the ridiculous disaster that is life and love in your 20s.
The comedy also stars Meaghan Rath, Charlie Saxton, James Earl, Maureen Sebastian and Justin Bartha.
Lacopo serves as executive producer with Gail Berman, showrunner Bill Callahan and director James Griffiths. 20th Century Fox Television and The Jackal Group produce.
