Casting News - Nathan Darrow to Play Mr. Freeze on 'Gotham'; Jessy Schram to Recur on 'Nashville'; Plus 5 More Updates!

ABC's Nashville; ABC Family's Stitchers; CBS' Mom; FOX's Gotham & The Grinder; HBO's Silicon Valley; and Showtime's Dice.





FOX's GOTHAM
  • House of Cards star Nathan Darrow is set to recur on the drama's second season as Victor Fries aka Mr. Freeze. On the drama, Victor begins as one of Gotham's preeminent cryogenics engineers. Though ferociously smart and eminently capable in his work, Victor struggles to make meaningful connections with others. The one exception is his wife, Nora, who has tragically fallen ill with a terminal disease. Victor's love for Nora knows no bounds, and as her condition worsens, he goes to extreme measures to figure out a way to freeze her before she dies. This harrowing journey leads to his transformation into the legendary DC Comics villain.
ABC's NASHVILLE
  • Jessy Schram (Once Upon a Time, Falling Skies) has been cast in a recurring role on the drama's fourth season. She will play Cash Gray, a singer songwriter who has recently re-connected with her formerly alcoholic musician father, Frankie - who also happens to be Deacon's (Charles Esten) sponsor.
FOX's THE GRINDER
  • Napoleon Dynamite star Efren Ramirez will appear on an upcoming episode of the comedy's first season. He will play Andre, the body double of Dean (Rob Lowe) from his former show. He winds up moving into the Sanderson home after Dean sells his home in L.A., where Andre has been living. Stewart (Fred Savage) and Debbie (Mary Elizabeth Ellis) soon grow fond of him when they discover he is an incredible chef and handyman.
CBS' MOM
  • Married star Judy Greer has booked a guest appearance on the comedy's upcoming third season. She will play Michelle, a sloppy drunk that Christy (Anna Faris) and Bonnie (Allison Janney) meet in a bar and try to help get sober.
ABC FAMILY's STITCHERS
  • John Billingsley (Star Trek: Enterprise) and Cassidy Freeman (Longmire) have joined the cast of the drama's upcoming second season in recurring roles. Billingsley will play Mitchell Blair, an NSA executive who arrives as a part of an abrupt change to the Stitchers program. Freeman will play Ellie, a hacker who uses her impressive skills to taunt the team.
SHOWTIME's DICE
  • Michael Rapaport (Justified, Public Morals) will guest star on the upcoming comedy starring Andrew Dice Clay. He will play Bobby B., one of Dice's oldest friends and whipping boys. He has always been known as "Bobby the Mooch" because he never had a dime to his name, but now, Bobby has come into some serious money, and he's going to throw enough cash around that he kills that nickname.
HBO's SILICON VALLEY
  • Veteran character actor Stephen Tobolowsky has joined the cast of the comedy's upcoming third season in a recurring role. He will play Jack Barker, an aggressive and formidable Silicon Valley CEO who Richard (Thomas Middleditch) and the guys have to contend with.
