Casting News - Martin Mull to Appear on 'Life in Pieces'; 'Lucifer' Adds Kevin Rankin as Regular; Plus 4 More Updates!

CBS' Life in Pieces; The CW's iZombie; Epix's Graves; FOX's Lucifer & Rosewood; and Showtime's House of Lies.

  • Wanda Sykes (Alpha House), Ken Marino (Marry Me) and Nicky Whelan (Matador) will appear on the comedy's upcoming fifth season. Sykes will play Wanda, a love interest for Jeremiah (Glynn Turman) who becomes a much-needed confidante for Marty (Don Cheadle) as he looks to ascend from management mogul to global power player. Marino will play Mark, a love interest for Jeannie (Kristen Bell). Whelan will play Klare, Marty's raw food chef girlfriend.
  • Martin Mull (Dads, Two and a Half Men) has landed a guest role on an upcoming episode of the new comedy. He will play Gary Timpkins, an uptight gentleman who is a neighbor of the Short family, and also the head of the Home Owners Association. He is a recent widower so Joan (Dianne Wiest) invites him to Thanksgiving dinner in the hopes of getting on his good side.
  • Gracepoint alum Kevin Rankin has joined the upcoming drama starring Tom Ellis as a new series regular. He will play Malcolm Graham, a decorated detective with an ends-justify-the-means approach to the law. He is beloved by his peers but underneath his easygoing nature is a master manipulator.
  • Adrian Pasdar (Heroes, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.) will guest star on the upcoming episode of the new drama. He will play Dr. Derek Foster, whom Rosewood (Morris Chestnut) and Detective Villa (Jaina Lee Ortiz) suspect of killing two of his patients.
  • Callie Hernandez (Sin City: A Dame to Kill For) has booked a series regular role on the upcoming comedy starring Nick Nolte. She will play Samantha, a tattooed, free spirit who's waiting tables in a small Santa Fe coffee shop when President Graves (Nolte) enters her life and finds her take on the world to be what's lacking in his. Becoming his muse, Samantha is often along for the journey with Graves and Isaiah (Skylar Astin) as he seeks to right his self-perceived wrongs.
  • Eddie Jemison (Ocean's Eleven, Hung) has been cast in recurring role on the drama's upcoming second season. He will play Mr. Boss, the crime lord of Seattle who is mild-mannered and broodily efficient.
