El Rey Network Renews 'From Dusk Till Dawn: The Series' for Season 3

El Rey Network has given a third season renewal to its original drama series From Dusk Till Dawn: The Series based on the 1996 feature film of the same name. The news broke on Monday afternoon. The pickup comes ahead of Tuesday's season finale.

The second season of the drama stars D.J. Cotrona, Zane Holtz, Eiza González, Jesse Garcia, Madison Davenport, Brandon Soo Hoo, Wilmer Valderrama, Jake Busey, Esai Morales and Danny Trejo.

Miramax produces the series in association with Rodriguez International Pictures, FactoryMade Ventures and Sugarcane Entertainment.

"This show has a passionate following, and I just love making it and directing episodes," said Robert Rodriguez, Founder, El Rey Network. "We have a killer cast and the characters have gotten even more layered and magnetic and I can't wait to take this story even further."

"Renewing the show for a third season seemed only natural given the tremendous team involved, led of course by Robert Rodriguez, Carlos Coto, our stellar cast and our fascinating Dusk universe that is like a never-ending well for unique storytelling," said Zanne Devine, Executive Vice President, Film and TV, Miramax.
