Casting News - David Schwimmer & Jim Sturgess to Star in 'Feed the Beast'; 'Second Chance' Moves to Fridays; Plus 1 More Update!

AMC's Feed the Beast; FOX's Second Chance; and Hulu's Shut Eye.






AMC's FEED THE BEAST
  • David Schwimmer (Friends) and Jim Sturgess (Across the Universe) have been cast in the lead roles on the upcoming drama from Clyde Phillips. Additionally, Michael Gladis, Lorenza Izzo, Christine Adams, John Doman and Elijah Jacob will co-star. The drama focuses on two best friends, Tommy Moran (Schwimmer) and Dion Patras (Sturgess), who take one last shot at their dream of opening a restaurant. They push each other, welcome love into their lives and overcome their demons. They also betray, backstab, manipulate and coerce each other into the most dangerous situations imaginable.
HULU's SHUT EYE
  • Susan Misner (The Americans) and Emmanuelle Chriqui (Entourage) will co-star opposite Jeffrey Donovan on the upcoming drama. Misner will play Dr. Nora White, a neuroscientist. Chriqui will play Gina, a hypnotist.
FOX's SECOND CHANCE
  • The low-rated drama series is losing its current time slot on Wednesday nights following American Idol. Effective next Wednesday, January 27, the new season of Hell's Kitchen will air at 9/8c. following a new episode of the singing competition's final season. Meanwhile, Second Chance will move to Friday nights at 9/8c. following MasterChef Junior (and later on Sleepy Hollow) starting January 29.
