Casting News - Premiere Dates Set for 'Daredevil,' 'Game of Thrones,' 'Silicon Valley' and 'Veep'; Plus 5 More Updates!

ABC's Castle; CBS' American Gothic & The Good Wife; The CW's Legends of Tomorrow; HBO's Game of Thrones, Silicon Valley & Veep; Netflix's Daredevil; and TNT's Rizzoli & Isles.




THE CW's LEGENDS OF TOMORROW
  • Jewel Staite (Firefly, Stargate Atlantis) will appear in an upcoming episode of the drama's first season. She will play Rachel Turner, a tech genius and roboticist who exists in a future where technology is ever more of a part of our lives than it is today. A descendant of a long line of inventors, Rachel believes that her creations can make her world a better place. However, her work is destined to fall into the hands of the immortal Vandal Savage (Casper Crump).
NETFLIX's DAREDEVIL
  • The second season of the hit drama starring Charlie Cox will drop all 13 episodes on Friday, March 18, it was announced in the new teaser the streaming service debuted today. The new season will found Matt (Cox) facing off against a new foe, The Punisher (Jon Bernthal), and former flame, Elektra (Elodie Yung).
ABC's CASTLE
  • Summer Glau is set to reunite with her Firefly co-star Nathan Fillion on an upcoming episode of the drama's eighth season. She will play a smart, sexy and strong private detective who goes toe-to-toe with Castle (Fillion).
CBS' THE GOOD WIFE
  • Glee alum Matthew Morrison has booked a recurring role on the drama's seventh season. He will play Connor Fox, an assistant U.S. attorney who has jailed the last four Illinois governors. He's a tough and smart dude who doesn't exactly warm to the Florricks.
TNT's RIZZOLI & ISLES
  • The upcoming seventh season of the hit drama starring Angie Harmon and Sasha Alexander will be its last, it was announced by network president Kevin Reilly during his executive session at the Television Critics Association's winter press tour.
HBO's GAME OF THRONES, SILICON VALLEY and VEEP
  • The premium cable network has announced that the three Emmy-winning series will return for new seasons on Sunday, April 24. The night will start with the debut of the 10-episode sixth season of Game of Thrones followed by the 10-episode third season of Silicon Valley at 10/9c. and the 10-episode fifth season of Veep at 10:30/9:30c.
CBS' AMERICAN GOTHIC
  • Banshee star Antony Starr has joined the cast of the upcoming drama starring Justin Chatwin and Megan Ketch. He will play Garrett, the firstborn son of a prominent Boston political family. He inexplicably left town 17 years ago and returns home at the news of his father's heart attack.
