TV LAND's NOBODIES
- The cable network has given a pilot order to single camera comedy Nobodies written by and starring Hugh Davidson, Larry Dorf and Rachel Ramras. All three will also executive produce with Melissa McCarthy and Ben Falcone through their production company On The Day. The pilot is inspired by Davidson, Dorf and Ramras' real lives where they watched their friends from The Groundlings go onto blockbuster comedies and win Oscars while they toiled away in Hollywood. Davidson, Dorf and Ramras will play themselves as they try desperately to land one of their famous friends for a feature script that they've developed so that they too can rise to fame in Hollywood. Falcone will guest star in and direct the pilot. McCarthy is also signed on to recur should the pilot go to series.
