NBC Sets Spring Premiere Dates for 'The Carmichael Show,' 'Crowded,' 'Heartbeat' & 'Game of Silence'

NBC has announced premiere dates for three new midseason scripted series - Crowded, Heartbeat and Game of Silence - plus the anticipated return of hit summer comedy The Carmichael Show.






The Carmichael Show will have a special preview episode on Tuesday, March 8 at 10:30/9:30c. following a two-hour episode of The Voice and a special preview of new reality show Little Big Shots. The comedy will then make its time slot debut on Sunday, March 13 at 9/8c. with back-to-back episodes.

The Carmichael Show stars Jerrod Carmichael, David Alan Grier, Loretta Devine, Amber Stevens West, Rel Howery and Tiffany Haddish.

Carmichael, Nick Stoller, Ravi Nandan and Danielle Sanchez-Witzel serve as executive producers. 20th Century Fox Television and Universal Television produce.


New multi-camera comedy Crowded will have a special two-episode preview on Tuesday, March 15 at 10/9c. following a two-hour episode of The Voice. The comedy will make its regular time slot debut on Sunday, March 20 at 9:30/8:30c.

After 20 years of parenting, empty nesters Mike (Patrick Warburton) and Martina (Carrie Preston) are finally reclaiming their wild side. But when both of their two grown daughters (Miranda Cosgrove and Mia Serafino) unexpectedly move back in and Mike's parents (Stacy Keach and Carlease Burke) scratch their plans to spend their golden years in Florida, their roost is full again.

Suzanne Martin created the series, and executive produces with Sean Hayes, Todd Milliner and James Burrows. Universal Television and Hazy Mills Productions produce.


New medical drama Heartbeat will have a special preview on Tuesday, March 22 at 9/8c. following a one-hour episode of The Voice. It will make its regular time slot debut on Wednesday, March 23.

The drama follows the professional and personal life of world-renowned heart transplant surgeon Dr. Alex Panttiere (Melissa George).

Dave Annable, Don Hany, Joshua Leonard, Jamie Kennedy, D.L. Hughley, Shelley Conn, Maya Erskine and J. Louis Mills also star.

Jill Gordon created the series, and executive produces with Amy Brenneman and Brad Silberling. Universal Television produces.


Game of Silence will premiere on Thursday, April 7 at 10/9c. following a new episode of The Blacklist.

Four best friends have a dark secret they thought was buried 25 years ago, but they soon discover that you can't hide your past forever.

The drama stars David Lyons, Michael Raymond James, Larenz Tate, Claire Van Der Boom, Bre Blair, Conor O'Farrell, Deidrie Henry, Demetrius Grosse and Derek Phillips.

David Hudgins developed the drama, and executive produces with Carol Mendelsohn, Julie Weitz, Tariq Jalil, Timur Savci, Deran Sarafian and Niels Arden Oplev (pilot). Universal Television, Sony Pictures Television and Carol Mendelsohn Productions produce.
