OWN's QUEEN SUGAR
  • Tina Lifford, Dondré Whitfield, Timon Kyle Durrett and Nicholas L. Ashe have been cast as series regulars on the upcoming drama from Ava DuVernay. Lifford will play Violet Bordelon, the aunt to the Bordelon siblings, a spunky woman involved in a long-term relationship with the younger Hollywood Desonier (Omar Dorsey). Whitfield will play Remy Newell, a trusted friend working on the Bordelon land as a water irrigation specialist. Durrett will play Davis West, a charismatic and respected professional basketball player married to Charley (Dawn-Lyen Gardner) who becomes embroiled in a public scandal with his teammates. Ashe will play Michal, Davis and Charley's 15-year-old son, who despite a privileged life, is grounded and has a great relationship with his parents.
THE CW's SUPERNATURAL
  • Rob Benedict will reprise his role as Chuck, Dean (Jensen Ackles) and Sam's (Jared Padalecki) prophet friend, in an upcoming episode of the drama's eleventh season. He will appear in the 20th episode of the season, though all other details of his return are being kept under wraps.
HULU's THE MINDY PROJECT
  • The hit comedy series will return for the second half of its fourth season on Tuesday, April 12, it was announced today by series creator and star Mindy Kaling on Twitter.
A&E's UNFORGETTABLE
  • After cheating death twice, it seems the time has finally run out for the procedural. The drama starring Poppy Montgomery and Dylan Walsh has been canceled by the cable network after one lowly rated season. The drama previously ran for three seasons on CBS.
