NBC's GOOD FORTUNE
  • Pamela Fryman (How I Met Your Mother) has signed on to direct and executive produce the multi-camera comedy pilot written by Matt Zinman and Craig Gerard. The project focuses on a hyper-structured young woman whose life is upended when she starts taking advice from a mysterious fortune teller.
ABC's MODEL WOMAN
  • Emmy winner Richard Shepard (Ugly Betty, Rosewood) will direct the period drama pilot written by Helen Childress. The project centers on a tempestuous matriarch and uncompromising businesswoman at the helm of an internationally renowned modeling agency in the late 1970s during the notorious Model Wars.
FOX's THE ENFORCERS
  • The network has given a pilot order to single camera comedy The Enforcers written by Sherry Bilsing-Graham and Ellen Kreamer. They will executive produce with pilot director Gail Mancuso. Warner Bros. Television will produce. The project is a female buddy comedy about two wildly different single mothers with dreams of being police officers who find themselves as inspectors in the Code Enforcement Department. Instead of fighting crime, they have been relegated to handling petty code breaking, like noise complaints, tree trimming and water misuse.
FOX's UNTITLED CHRIS CASE PROJECT
  • The network has also ordered a pilot for an untitled single camera comedy written by Chris Case. He will executive produce with Chris Spencer, Evan Silverberg, Daniel Rappaport and pilot director Malcolm D. Lee. 20th Century Fox Television will produce. The project follows Jay "Havoc" Hammond, an African-American, ex-NFL lineman who recently moved in with his white wife and her two oddball sons, as he struggles to win the most challenging game of his life: fatherhood.
CBS' SENSORY
  • The network has given a pilot order to drama Sensory written by David Zabel. He will executive produce with Ridley Scott, David Zucker and Roger Freet. CBS Television Studios, TriStar Television, Scott Free Productions and Foundry Media will produce. Inspired by the life of Dr. Joel Salinas, the project centers on a veteran neurologist and her protégé who has mirror-touch synesthesia, a neurological trait that causes him to experience other people's sensations.
ABC's STILL STAR-CROSSED
  • Michael Offer (How to Get Away With Murder) has been tapped to direct the drama pilot written by Heather Mitchell. Set in 16th century Verona, the project picks up where Romeo & Juliet left off, charting the treachery, palace intrigue and ill-fated romances of the Montagues and Capulets in the wake of the young lovers' tragic fate.
ABC's THE SECOND FATTEST HOUSEWIFE IN WESTPORT
  • Ruben Fleischer (Superstore) has signed on to direct the single-camera comedy pilot written by Sarah Dunn. The project focuses on Katie, a (slightly) larger, strong-willed mother raising her flawed family of three in a wealthy town filled with "perfect" wives and their "perfect" offspring.
