Netflix Renews 'Master of None' for Season 2

Netflix has ordered a second season of its original comedy series Master of None, it was announced today on Twitter by series star and co-creator Aziz Ansari. The new season will debut on the online streaming service in 2017.






The comedy is based on Ansari's personal and professional experiences. It follows Dev (Ansari), a 30-year-old actor in New York City, as he explores and questions the world around him.

Noël Wells, Eric Wareheim, Kelvin Yu and Lena Waithe also star.

Ansari and Alan Yang co-created the series. They executive produce with Mike Schur, Dave Becky and David Miner. Universal Television, 3 Arts Entertainment, Femulon, Alan Yang Pictures and Oh Brudder Productions produce.
