ABC's CONVICTION
- The Following alum Shawn Ashmore has been cast on the drama pilot starring Hayley Atwell. He will play Sam, a top Assistant District Attorney who isn't pleased that Carter (Atwell) has taken the job he wants and was promised - and unaware she was blackmailed into taking it.
ABC's NOTORIOUS
- Graceland star Daniel Sunjata is set as the male lead on the drama pilot written by Josh Berman and Allie Hagan. He will play Jake Gregorian, a charismatic and sexy defense attorney, who manipulates the media to win cases at any cost.
CBS' MY TIME/YOUR TIME
- Nicholas Braun (10 Things I Hate About You) has joined the comedy pilot written by Hilary Winston as the male lead. He will play Wade, a guy who things have always come easy for (friends, girls, jobs). That's why he decided he'd move to Los Angeles and give it a shot in the big city but real adult life has been a little big of a shock.
FOX's PITCH
- Mark-Paul Gosselaar (Saved by the Bell, Franklin and Bash) has been cast as the male lead on the drama pilot written by Dan Fogelman and Rick Singer. He will play Mike Lawson, a handsome, charming, self-assured future Hall of Fame MLB catcher. A ladies' man off the field and a leader on it, Mike's not sure what to do with the undeniable spark between him and Ginny (Kylie Bunbury). Skeptical of her at first, he still can't help but show her the ropes. Over time, they'll bring new meaning to the term, "team chemistry."
CBS' SUPERIOR DONUTS
- Maz Jobrani (Better Off Ted) will co-star on the comedy pilot starring Jermaine Fowler. He will play Maz, a high-energy, over-caffeinated businessman, capitalism personified and living the American dream. He has been buying up buildings and investing in businesses in the Uptown neighborhood, waiting for gentrification to come and make him rich, and he's constantly after Arthur to sell him the donut shop so he can control the entire block.
