USA Renews 'Colony' for Season 2

USA has renewed its original drama series Colony for a second season, it was announced today ahead of tonight's debut of the fourth episode. The second season will include 13 episodes, up from the show's 10-episode first season.

The drama stars Josh Holloway and Sarah Wayne Callies as a husband and wife struggling to survive and bring liberty back to the people of Los Angeles following an occupation.

The cast also includes Peter Jacobson, Amanda Righetti, Gonzalo Menendez, Tory Kittles, Alex Neustaedter and Isabella Croveti-Cramp. Guest stars in the first season include Paul Guilfoyle, Carl Weathers, Kathy Baker, Adrian Pasdar and Kathryn Morris.

Carlton Cuse and Ryan Condal created the series, and executive produce with director Juan José Campanella. Legendary Television and Universal Cable Productions produce.

"Carlton and Ryan have successfully delivered a story that tests the strengths and weaknesses of a society in duress, and the bonds of a family divided," said Chris McCumber, President, USA Network. "Colony's performance across all platforms has been impressive, and we can't wait to see where the story takes us."
