SUNDANCETV's TOP OF THE LAKE
  • Elisabeth Moss has officially signed on to reprise her lead role as Detective Robin Griffin on the upcoming second season of the hit drama. She will be joined by Game of Thrones and Star Wars: The Force Awakens star Gwendoline Christie. The new season moves the action from New Zealand to Australia, picking up four years after the events of the first season. When the unidentified body of an Asian girl washes up on Sydney's Bondi Beach, the case seems hopeless until Robin discovers that she was not the only victim.
FOX's PRISON BREAK
  • Inbar Lavi, Marina Benedict and Kunal Sharma have joined the cast of the upcoming revival of the hit drama series. Additionally, Paul Adelstein is set to reprise his role as Paul Kellerman. Lavi will play Sheba, a beautiful and smart operator/fixer/activist who becomes involved with Lincoln (Dominic Purcell). Benedict will play A&W, a crazed villainess who is unconcerned about her physical well-being but efficient in completing her deadly goals. Sharma will play Sid, who's artsy and wired while his offense, despite what his docket says, is solely being gay.
ABC's WHEN WE RISE
  • Guy Pearce, Mary-Louise Parker, Rachel Griffiths, Austin McKenzie, Emily Skeggs, Jonathan Majors and Fiona Dourif have been cast on the upcoming limited series written by Dustin Lance Black. Pearce will play LGBT activist Cleve Jones. Parker will play women's rights leader Roma Guy. Griffiths will play Roma's wife, social justice activist Diane. McKenzie will play the younger version of Cleve Jones. Skeggs will play the younger Roma Guy. Majors will play the younger Ken Jones. Dourif will play the younger Diane.
ABC's FRESH OFF THE BOAT
  • Courtney Thorne-Smith (Melrose Place, According to Jim) will appear in an April episode of the comedy's second season. The episode will serve as a homage to Melrose Place and will feature Jessica (Constance Wu) struggling when the primetime soap's season comes to an end.
CBS' BRAINDEAD
  • Beth Malone (Fun Home) has booked a recurring role on the upcoming series starring Mary Elizabeth Winstead. She will play Claudia, a grim, smart, ultra-liberal newscaster for an ultra-liberal news station.
NBC's TAKEN
  • Jennifer Marsala (Homeland, Aquarius) has landed a recurring role on the upcoming drama starring Clive Standen and Jennifer Beals. She will play Riley, a member of Bryan's (Standen) team whose job it is to act quickly in support of the team on the ground.
FOX's SHOTS FIRED
  • Will Patton (Falling Skies, The Good Wife) has been cast as a series regular on the upcoming limited series starring Sanaa Lathan. He will play Sheriff Daniel Platt, whose precinct and an officer under his command are investigated after a police shooting.
FX's TABOO
  • Franka Potente (The Bridge) will appear in multiple episodes of the upcoming drama series starring Tom Hardy. She will play Helga, a business-minded madam who shares a history with James Keziah Delaney (Hardy).
NETFLIX's BLOODLINE
  • The 10-episode second season of the hit drama will debut on Friday, May 27 on the online streaming service. The new season stars Kyle Chandler, Ben Mendelsohn, Linda Cardellini, Norbert Leo Butz, Jacinda Barrett, Jamie McShane, Enrique Murciano, Sissy Spacek, Andrea Riseborough and John Leguizamo.
