Freeform has cancelled its original drama series Recovery Road, it has been confirmed today. The news first broke last night from executive producer Holly Sorensen on Twitter.
Sorensen wrote: "I am as proud of @RecoveryRoad as anything I've done and I didn't create it. I'm heartbroken it ends after ten amazing episodes."
Based on the novel of the same name by Blake Nelson, the drama focused on a high school teen forced to live at sober living facility to treat a drinking and drug addiction.
The cast included Jessica Sula, Sebastian de Souza, Alexis Carra, Daniel Franzese, Kyla Pratt, David Witts and Sharon Leal.
Bert V. Royal and Karen DiConcetto developed the series. Additional executive producers included Beth Miller, Craig Piligian and Danielle von Zerneck.
