NBC's SUPERSTORE
  • Saturday Night Live star Cecily Strong will appear in the upcoming Olympics-themed episode of the comedy's second season. In the episode, Amy (America Ferrera) achieves both a personal and career highlight when a Cloud 9 Olympics promotion offers her the chance to meet her idol, gold medal gymnast Missy Jones (Strong). Additionally, real-life Olympians Apolo Anton Ohno, Tara Lipinski and McKayla Maroney will make cameo appearances in the episode.
FOX's SCREAM QUEENS
  • Colton Haynes (Arrow, Teen Wolf) will appear on the horror comedy's upcoming second season. Details about his role are being kept under wraps. As of right now, he's slated to appear in only one episode but there is the potential for more.
NBC's LAW & ORDER: SVU
  • Henry Thomas (E.T.) and Kelli Williams (The Practice) will guest star in an episode of the drama's upcoming eighteenth season inspired by Netflix's hit docuseries Making a Murderer. Thomas will play a convicted rapist recently exonerated due to newly tested DNA evidence after 16 years in prison. But his freedom doesn't last very long as Fin (Ice T), the arresting officer all those years ago, must investigate the man once again when he's implicated in a deadly crime. Williams will play Melanie, the rape victim who identified him as her attacker.
CBS ALL ACCESS' STAR TREK
  • David Semel (The Man in the High Castle, Madam Secretary) has signed on to direct and executive produce the first episode of the upcoming rebook of the historic sci-fi franchise.
CBS' THE BIG BANG THEORY
  • Katey Sagal (Sons of Anarchy) and Jack McBrayer (30 Rock) will play Penny's (Kaley Cuoco) mother and brother in the premiere episode of the comedy's tenth season. The casting was announced today during the show's writer's room panel at San Diego Comic-Con.
THE CW's THE 100
  • After recurring throughout the third season, Zach McGowan has been promoted to series regular for the drama's upcoming fourth season. He plays Roan, the King of the Ice Nation. His promotion indicates that he survived the attack from Alie's (Erica Cerra) chipped soldiers in the third season finale.
AMC's THE WALKING DEAD
  • Ahead of the hit drama's panel at San Diego Comic-Con, it was announced that the 16-episode seventh season will begin on Sunday, October 23 at 9/8c. Season 7 will feature more series regular characters than any previous season - with 20 actors contracted as such. The cast includes Andrew Lincoln, Norman Reedus, Steven Yeun, Lauren Cohan, Chandler Riggs, Danai Gurira, Melissa McBride, Michael Cudlitz, Lennie James, Sonequa Martin-Green, Josh McDermitt, Cristian Serratos, Alanna Masterson, Seth Gilliam, Ross Marquand, Austin Nichols, Austin Amelio, Tom Payne, Xander Berkeley and Jeffrey Dean Morgan.
  • Moreover, the show has also announced that Khary Payton (Teen Titans) has joined the seventh season as a series regular. He will play Ezekiel, the leader of a new community of survivors, the Kingdom. He's a former zookeeper who looks over his community with Shiva, his pet tiger.
STARZ's AMERICAN GODS
  • The upcoming drama starring Ricky Whittle and Ian McShane is staging a Pushing Daises reunion with Kristin Chenoweth joining the cast of the series developed by Bryan Fuller. She will play the goddess Easter.
A&E's BATES MOTEL
  • The upcoming fifth season of the hit drama starring Freddie Highmore and Vera Farmiga will be its final season, it was announced today during San Diego Comic-Con. The news comes as little surprise considering executive producers Carlton Cuse and Kerry Ehrin have always talked about a five season plan for the show.
  • The panel also announced that pop star/actress Rihanna (Battleship, Valerian) will play the key role of Marion Crane on the final season. She steps into the role famously played by Janet Leigh in Alfred Hitchcock's film Psycho.
ABC's AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D.
  • Gabriel Luna (Matador, Wicked City) has been tapped to play the infamous Marvel character Ghost Rider on the drama's upcoming fourth season. In this version, Ghost Rider is Roberto "Robbie" Reyes, a high school student working at an auto body shop. He is transformed into Ghost Rider after a street race gone wrong.
FOX's SLEEPY HOLLOW
  • Janina Gavankar (True Blood, The Mysteries of Laura) has been cast in a major role on the drama's upcoming fourth season. She will play Diana, a single mom and former military officer who is currently a Special Agent for Homeland Security. 
NETFLIX's ALIAS GRACE
  • Tony nominee Zachary Levi (She Loves Me, Chuck) will co-star on the upcoming miniseries starring Sarah Gadon. Details where not immediately released about the character he will be playing.
