Pivot Renews 'Please Like Me' for Season 4

Pivot has renewed its original comedy series Please Like Me, a co-production with Australia, for a forth season. Production is set to begin this week in Melbourne on the six-episode season, which will premiere on Thursday, November 10.

The series stars Josh Thomas, Thomas Ward, Caitlin Stasey, Emily Barclay, Debra Lawrance, Hannah Gadsby, Keegan Joyce, David Roberts and Renne Lim.

In Season 3, Josh's (Thomas) boyfriend (Joyce) came out to his parents. Josh's best friend Tom (Ward) tried being single - for a while. Hannah (Gadsby) moved in with Mum (Lawrance). Josh's ex Claire (Stasey) moved to Germany for a fresh start but returned home. Dad (Roberts), Mae (Lim) and baby Grace settled into a new family's chaotic routine - until Mae dropped a bombshell.

In the new season, as his coffee cart business thrives, Josh's personal life is in upheaval. After a jubilant honeymoon phase, the weight of maintaining a "proper" relationship crashes in on Josh and Arnold, while Josh tries to juggle his hapless parents and aimless friends.

Thomas serves as executive producer with Todd Abbott, Kevin Whyte, Rick Kalowski, Brett Sleigh, Jeff Skoll, Belisa Balaban and Chris Loveall. Participant Media produces.

"Josh Thomas has a rare ability to take the most awkward, confounding and even dark moments of our lives and relationships and make them funny," said Belisa Balaban, Executive Vice President of Original Programming, Pivot.
