ABC's HOW TO GET AWAY WITH MURDER
- Grammy winner Mary J. Blige (The Wiz Live!) will appear in an upcoming episode of the drama's third season. No details were immediately released about the character she will be playing or who she may share scenes with.
AMAZON's GOLIATH
- Jason Ritter (Parenthood, Another Period) has been cast in a recurring role on the upcoming drama starring Billy Bob Thornton and William Hurt. He will play Joe Farley, a wry but savvy FBI special agent.
NETFLIX's GLOW
- Maron star Marc Maron is set as the male lead on the upcoming comedy starring Alison Brie. He will play Sam Sylvia, a washed-up Hollywood director who has a very complicated history with women - and now must lead 14 of them on the journey to wrestling stardom.
HBO's GAME OF THRONES
- Oscar winner Jim Broadbent (Longford, Iris) has booked a role on the drama's upcoming seventh season. No details were released about the character he will be playing. However, the role is said to be "significant."
POP's THE JOEY MAC PROJECT
- Newcomer Katie Wee has joined the upcoming comedy starring Joey McIntyre as a series regular. She will play Paige, the head of development at the Comfort Channel and the network president's second-in-command. She is perky, driven, duplicitous and ambitious to a fault. She knows what she wants and how to get it. Very hands-on with the show's development, she's take-charge and take-over at times.
VH1's THE BREAKS
- Teyana Taylor - the breakout star of Kanye West's music video for "Fade" - has landed a recurring role on the upcoming drama series. She will play a rapper discovered by Nikki (Afton Williamson) who is one of the first artists signed to the label that Barry (Wood Harris) is launching.
VH1's DAYTIME DIVAS
- Awkward star Niko Pepaj has been cast in a recurring role on the upcoming drama starring Vanessa Williams. He will play Leon, a production assistant on The Lunch Hour who spends most of his time looking at his phone. Despite his lack of professionalism, he's actually quite ambitious. Although he is being manipulative, you still find yourself rooting for him. When an opportunity arises, he is quick to take full advantage.
AMAZON's PATRIOT
- Chastity Dotson (Single Ladies, Bosch) has booked a recurring role on the upcoming drama starring Michael Dorman. She will play Carol, a smart and charismatic veterinarian. Due to her on and off relationship with Edward (Michael Chernus), she predominantly raises her son as a single mom.
AMAZON's MOZART IN THE JUNGLE
- Prema Cruz (Billions) will appear in a recurring role on the comedy's upcoming third season. She will play a single mother and a potential love interest for Rodrigo (Gael Garcia Bernal).
USA's COLONY
- Bethany Joy Lenz (One Tree Hill) has been tapped to replace Thora Birch in a recurring role on the drama's upcoming second season. She will play Morgan, a highly-intelligent computer whiz with a conscience. She is determined to do what's right. Birch played the role in Season 1 but had to exit due to a scheduling conflict.
