USA's THE TAP
  • The cable network has given a pilot order to period drama The Tap executive produced by Emmy winner Rob Reiner. Andrew Lenchewski and Aaron Tracy wrote the pilot. Lenchewski executive produces with Alan Greisman and Charlie Ebersol. Tracy is a co-executive producer. Universal Cable Productions and Reiner/Greisman produce. Set at Yale University in 1969 during the height of America's cultural and political revolution, three students struggle to find their true identities - Jay, an ambitious and self-conscious conservative who desperately aspires to join the powerful secret society of Skull and Bones; Michelle, a strong-minded feminist who has difficulty finding her community at the predominantly male institution; and Gloria, a student who would prefer to focus on her education rather than involve herself in racial politics.
WGN AMERICA's ROADSIDE PICNIC
  • Martin Donovan (Weeds, Legends of Tomorrow) will co-star on the drama starring Matthew Goode. He will play Dr. Valentine Pillman, the head of a government institute that studies and attempts to maintain control over six zones where the aliens made earthly contact.
