TLC Renews 'Too Close to Home' for Season 2

After only airing three episodes, TLC has renewed its first ever scripted series Too Close to Home for a second season. The drama created by Tyler Perry will return for Season 2 sometime in 2017.

The drama centers on Anna (Danielle Savre), a young woman who comes face-to-face with her checkered past after an alleged affair with the President of the United States.

The cast also includes Brock O'Hurn, Kelly Sullivan, Brad Benedict, Brooke Anne Smith, Alpha Trivette, Trisha Rae Stahl, Robert Craighead, Annie Thrash, Curran Walters and Derrick Gilbert. Heather Locklear is a recurring guest star.

"Our audience was ready for a move into the scripted space, and Too Close to Home whet their appetite to see more. More twists, more heartbreak and certainly more of Tyler Perry's notoriously dramatic writing," said Nancy Daniels, President and General Manager, TLC.
