HBO's WESTWORLD, DIVORCE and INSECURE
  • The premium cable network has released the second episode of the hit drama Westworld and the series premieres of new comedies Divorce and Insecure online ahead of their linear debuts this Sunday, October 9. HBO explains that the early release comes as a way to avoid competition with the second presidential debate. The episodes can be streamed via HBO Now, HBO Go, HBO On Demand and affiliate portals.
FOX's STAR
  • Tyrese Gibson (Fast and Furious, Transformers) has booked a recurring role on the upcoming drama starring Queen Latifah. He will play Pastor Bobby Harris, a leader and confidant to many who presides over Carlotta's (Latifah) warm congregation. A handsome ex-thug who has, like Carlota, turned his life over to God. He and Carlotta begin a relationship that will be challenged on many fronts and which will ultimately create a crisis of faith for both of them.
FOX's MAKING HISTORY
  • Natalie Morales (The Grinder, Trophy Wife) has landed a recurring role on the upcoming comedy starring Adam Pally. She will play Mona Rivero, a writer for the local newspaper who begins to suspect that all is not alright with Deborah (Leighton Meester) and Dan (Pally).
THE CW's FREQUENCY
  • Kenneth Mitchell (Jericho, Astronaut Wives Club) has been cast in a recurring role on the drama's first season. He will play Joe Hurley, a local church deacon who isn't quite the family man he appears to be.
CMT's NASHVILLE
  • Bridgit Mendler (Undateable, Good Luck Charlie) has joined the drama's upcoming fifth season in a recurring role. She will play Ashley Wilkenson, an internet sensation who is about to record her first album. Sexy, self-assured and stubborn, she is extremely talented. But underneath her certainty is a well of vulnerability.
NETFLIX's GYPSY
  • Lucy Boynton (Sing Street) will co-star on the upcoming drama starring Naomi Watts. She will play Allison, a 19-year-old patient of Jean's (Watts). She has recently dropped out of school to support her addiction and is hiding this secret from her mother.
THE CW's IZOMBIE
  • Veronica Mars alum Jason Dohring is set to recur in the drama's upcoming third season. He will play Chase Graves, the brother-in-law of Vivian Stoll (Andrea Savage).
THE CW's JANE THE VIRGIN
  • Justina Machado (Queen of the South, One Day at a Time) has booked a recurring role on the comedy's upcoming third season. She will play Darcy Factor, a formidable matchmaker who Rogelio (Jaime Camil) goes to in order to find a woman. Very protective of hr female clientele, she has strict rules about her dating service, all of which Rogelio breaks right away. However, she gives him another chance (or two) and ultimately comes up with a surprising proposition for him.
FREEFORM's BEYOND
  • The new supernatural drama will premiere on the cable network on Monday, January 2 at 9/8c. Immediately following its linear debut, the entire first season will be made available on digital platforms - including the Freeform app, Freeform.com, On Demand and Hulu. The new drama stars Burkeley Duffield, Romy Rosemont, Michael McGrady, Jonathan Whitesell, Dilan Gwyn and Jeff Pierre.
