LIFETIME's UNREAL
  • Chelsea Hobbs (Make It or Break It) has been cast in a recurring role on the drama's upcoming third season. She will play Charlie, a talented new camera assistant on Everlasting who's a breath of fresh air, still green and innocent enough to love her job.
STARZ's OUTLANDER
  • Gary Young (Secret City) and Charlie Hiett (Judge John Deed) have joined the cast of the drama's upcoming third season. Young will play Mr. Willoughby, a Chinese man with a deep knowledge of Eastern medicine, a talented poet in exile with an even deeper love of women. He is a confidante of Jamie's (Sam Heughan), speaks English well but hides it when it suits him. He is even more of an outsider than Claire (Caitriona Balfe) in 18th century Scotland. Hiett will play Captain Thomas Leonard, the inexperienced, by-the-book de facto captain of the Artemis. Promoted quickly due to the untimely deaths of his commanding officers, he takes his job very seriously, though it weighs heavily on his young shoulders. A third lieutenant, he never thought he would be the captain of a man-of-war ship. Above all, he wants to do what is right by the British Navy - whether or not it is right by his own personal morals.
AUDIENCE's MR. MERCEDES
  • Casting is set for the upcoming drama series starring Brendan Gleeson and Harry Treadaway. Today, the network has confirmed that the series will also feature Jharrel Jerome (Moonlight) as Jerome Robinson, Scott Lawrence (Avatar) as Detective Peter Dixon, Robert Stanton (Mercury Rising) as Anthony "Robi" Frobisher, and Ann Cusack (Nightcrawler) as Olivia Trelawney.
FREEFORM's CLOAK & DAGGER
  • Olivia Holt (I Didn't Do It) and Aubrey Joseph (The Night Of) have been cast in the title roles on the upcoming Marvel drama. Holt will play Tandy Bowen aka Dagger, a once privileged girl who watched as her family was destroyed by a disastrous storm that uprooted he life. Now in her late teens, an unexpected encounter sparks a life changing event. Joseph will play Tyrone Johnson aka Cloak, who wanted nothing more than to prove he was fearless when he was young. But when everything he held close was taken away, life taught him to be afraid. Now older and more sheltered, he closes himself off. But when he meets Tandy his life changes forever.
BBC AMERICA's DOCTOR WHO
  • Peter Capaldi has announced that he is planning on the departing the series at the end of the 2017 Christmas Special. He has played the 12th incarnation of the Doctor for three seasons. His exit will also coincide with the departure of series showrunner Steven Moffat, who is also exiting with the Christmas Special. The network has also announced today that the tenth season will debut on Saturday, April 15 at 9/8c. The new season stars Capaldi, Pearl Mackie and Matt Lucas, with guest appearances from David Suchet and Michelle Gomez.
BBC AMERICA's CLASS
  • The network has also announced today that the Doctor Who spin-off Class will debut on Saturday, April 15 as well at 10/9c. The new drama stars Greg Austin, Fady Elsayed, Sophie Hopkins, Vivian Oparah and Katherine Kelly.
FOX's EMPIRE
  • Desperate Housewives star Eva Longoria has booked a recurring role on the drama's third season. She will play Charlotte Frost, the formidable director of the state gaming commission who has the power to make or break Lucious' (Terrence Howard) dreams of expanding Empire's reach to Las Vegas. 
HBO's BALLERS
  • Graceland alum Serinda Swan has landed a recurring role on the comedy's upcoming third season. She will play Chloe Day, a smart and sexy hotel management executive at the nicest resort hotel in Las Vegas.
DISCOVERY's MANIFESTO
  • Michael Nouri (Damages) and Ben Weber (Secret Life of the American Teenager) have joined the cast of the upcoming limited series starring Sam Worthington and Paul Bettany. Nouri will play Bob Guccione Sr., Penthouse founder who offered to publish the manifesto written by Ted Kaczynski (Bettany). Weber will play Andy Genelli, the former head of the Unabomber Task Force.
