This afternoon TBS has announced a spring premiere date for the third season of original comedy series Angie Tribeca starring Rashida Jones.
The 10-episode third season will debut on Monday, April 10 at 9/8c.
In the new season, Detectives Tribeca (Rashida Jones), Geils (Hayes MacArthur) and Tanner (Deon Cole) will track an animal rights activist-turned-serial killer outside of their jurisdiction to New Orleans, New York, Miami, outer space and Universal Studios Hollywood. Lt. Akins (Jere Burns) and Dr. Scholls (Andrée Vermeulen) are also in play, tackling key societal issues - dating after divorce and gambling addiction, respectively.
Guest stars in the new season include Ernie Hudson, Chris Pine, Natalie Portman, Michelle Dockery, Niecy Nash, Jack McBrayer, Rob Riggle, Heather Graham, Ed Helms, Mary McCormack and more.
Nancy and Steve Carell created the comedy. They executive produce with showrunner Ira Ungerleider, Thom Hinkle and Campbell Smith. TBS Productions, Carousel Television and 301 Productions produce.
