NBC's SPACED OUT
- The Real O'Neals star Matt Shively will play the lead role on the comedy pilot written by Adam Sztykiel. Christine Woods (Hello Ladies) has also been cast today as the female lead. Shively will play Peter Gibbons, the newest member of the propulsion team at Space One who is like a kid in a candy store. After working in his father's body shop, he is now living his dream as the new team leader of the company sending the first unmanned rocket to Mars. His casting is officially in second position to ABC's The Real O'Neals, which seems unlikely to be renewed for a third season. Woods will play Maxine "Max" Donovan, Space One's alpha female engineer. She's a born leader who's not a happy camper when her boss appoints the new guy as the team leader.
