Casting News - Colin Ferguson to Recur on 'You're the Worst'; 'Chicago P.D.' Promotes Tracy Spiridakos; Plus 3 More Updates!

Casting News - July 25, 2017

The CW's The Flash; FOX's Lethal Weapon; FXX's You're the Worst; and NBC's Chicago P.D. & Taken.

  • Newcomer Andrew Creer has been cast in a recurring role on the drama's upcoming second season. He will play Zach Bowman, a good-looking, eager detective who partners with Detective Bailey (Michelle Mitchenor). He is the type who continually steps into good fortune, and through a few lucky heroic moments on the job, has climbed the ranks quickly. He becomes the poster child for the LAPD, literally, as they are in need of good press after the series of disasters that Riggs (Clayne Crawford) and Murtaugh (Damon Wayans) leave in their wake.
  • Eureka alum Colin Ferguson has booked a recurring role on the comedy's upcoming fourth season. He will play Boone, a friend of Ty's (Stephen Schneider) whom Gretchen (Aya Cash) begins dating. He's a middle-aged guy who lives in Eagle Rock and runs a nonprofit - and who represents the kind of fun-loving, down-to-earth guy Gretchen never had in Jimmy.
  • After appearing in three episodes at the end of last season, Tracy Spiridakos has been promoted to series regular for the drama's upcoming fifth season. She plays Detective Hailey Upton, who got her detective shield meritoriously on the heels of an undercover assignment that is still shrouded in secrecy. As a result, she had had to prove herself to those who thought she didn't earn the detective promotion.
  • After one season on the show, Tom Felton will not be returning to the drama's upcoming fourth season as a series regular. He played Julian Albert, a creation from Flashpoint who started as Barry's (Grant Gustin) CSI supervision, became an unwitting acolyte of Savitar's and then joined Team Flash. He was also a love interest for Caitlin (Danielle Panabaker). The new season starts with a time jump. Felton is not scheduled to appear in any additional episodes.
  • Jessica Camacho (The Flash, Sleepy Hollow) has joined the drama's upcoming second season as a new series regular. She will play Santana, a scary-smart, rule-breaking former Army captain who possesses an acerbic wit and calculated bravado. Her forte is logistics.
