TruTV Renews 'I'm Sorry' for Season 2

TruTV has renewed its original comedy series I'm Sorry for a second season, it was announced today. The new season will debut in 2018.

The comedy stars Andrea Savage, Tom Everett Scott and Olive Petrucci.

Guest stars from the first season include Kathy Baker, Nelson Franklin, Judy Greer, Jason Mantzoukas, Martin Mull, Lyndon Smith, Gary Anthony Williams and Steve Zissis.

Savage created the comedy loosely inspired on her own life. She executive produces with Will Ferrell, Adam McKay, Andy Samberg, Jorma Taccone, Akiva Schaffer, Joey Slamon, Jessica Elbaum, Jason Zaro and Billy Rosenberg. Lonely Island Productions, Gloria Sanchez Productions and Kablamo! produce.

"I couldn't be more ecstatic to continue to apologize to all of my closest friends and family for bringing even more humiliation upon us," said Savage.

"Andrea tells relatable and hysterical stories in a way that's genuine to her comedic point of view. She's got a refreshing take on the awkward, hilarious moments that we all experience as grownups and it's clearly resonating with viewers," said Marissa Ronca, Head of Programming, TruTV. "We're thrilled to be partnering with her on a second season."
