The CW's Life Sentence & Supergirl; MTV's Scream; NBC's Great News; Netflix's Maniac; and Showtime's Escape at Dannemora.

SHOWTIME's ESCAPE AT DANNEMORA
  • Bonnie Hunt (Cheaper by the Dozen, Cars) has been cast on the upcoming miniseries starring Benicio del Toro, Patricia Arquette and Paul Dano. She will play Catherine Leahy Scott, the New York State Inspector General who headed up the formal investigation of the escape of the prison inmates from Clinton Correctional Facility in Dannemora, New York.
THE CW's SUPERGIRL
  • Chad Lowe (Pretty Little Liars) will appear in an upcoming episode of the drama's third season. He will play Thomas Coville, a charismatic religious leader who leads a cult worshipping Supergirl (Melissa Benoist). He's a deeply spiritual man, committed to preaching his faith and transforming his followers' lives.
MTV's SCREAM
  • RJ Cyler, Keke Palmer, Giorgia Whigham, Jessica Sula and Giullian Yao Gioiello have joined the cast of the drama's upcoming third season. Cyler will play Deion, who hopes to secure a college football scholarship that will take him far away from Atlanta, a plan that seems destined to fail when he becomes the target of a masked killer with ties to his past. Palmer will play Kym, a bold and beautiful social activist with a big heart and zero patience for suffering fools. When she finds herself hunted by a killer, she works to flip the script and survive at any cost. Whigham will play Beth, the resident goth girl and local tattoo artist. As an unapologetic fan of horror films, she is outspoken about her encyclopedic knowledge of movie murder - which is sure to come in handy. Sula will play Liv, the new girl at school. As a member of the cheer squad and an honor roll student, she seems to have a good head on her shoulders and an ideal life. But as she and Deion grow closer amid the murder and mayhem, it soon becomes clear that she has just as many secrets as everyone. Gioiello will play Manny, an openly gay and loyal kid who is often the smartest person in the room. But his wits are put to the test when he suddenly finds himself in the crosshairs of a killer - which makes his simple goal of surviving high school and moving on with his life seem impossible.
NBC's GREAT NEWS
  • Saturday Night Live star Cecily Strong will guest star in an upcoming episode of the comedy's second season. She will play Jessica, one of Katie's (Briga Heelan) old friends who traded in her single city life for a husband and kids in New Jersey. After Jessica throws a wildly elaborate gender reveal party, Katie begins to question her life choices, envying her friend's seemingly perfect life in the suburbs.
NETFLIX's MANIAC
  • Girls star Jemima Kirke has booked a recurring role on the upcoming comedy starring Emma Stone and Jonah Hill. Like with all previous casting, no details were immediately released about the character she will be playing.
THE CW's LIFE SENTENCE
  • Riley Smith (Frequency, True Detective) has landed a recurring role on the upcoming dramedy starring Lucy Hale. He will play Dr. Will Grant, a rough-around-the-edges oncologist with a secret soft spot for his patients. When Stella (Hale) finds herself working closely with him, there is an undeniable chemistry, which poses a threat to her relationship with Wes (Elliot Knight), a man she married on a romantic whim when she thought she was terminally ill.
