HULU's THE FIRST
  • In somewhat surprising news, Designated Survivor star Natascha McElhone is departing the cast of the ABC drama and will immediately segue to the new streaming drama starring Sean Penn. No details were released about the character she will be playing on The First and how she will exit Designated Survivor later this season. Production on The First is set to begin later this year as well.
FOX's STAR
  • Elijah Kelley (The New Edition Story, The Wiz Live!) has booked a recurring role on the drama's upcoming second season. He will play Andy, a Harvard graduate who has worked all his life to pursue his dreams in the music industry. He's knowledgeable and driven, but his charisma is what Ayanna Floyd (Michael Michele), the CEO of Midtown Sound, relies on to help her put her new label on the map. What she doesn't know is that Andy's impressive vocal talents may play a part in accomplishing her goal.
FOX's EMPIRE
  • Survivor's Remorse star Teyonah Parris has landed a recurring role on the drama's upcoming fourth season. She will play Pamela Rose, a New York police detective investigating the attempted murder of Lucious Lyon (Terrence Howard). TNT's THE LIBRARIANS
  • The hit drama series is set to return for its fourth season with a special two-hour premiere on Wednesday, December 20 at 8/7c.
