Casting News - Pauley Perrette to Exit 'NCIS'; Kether Donohue Books Recurring Role on 'L.A. to Vegas'; Plus 2 More Updates!

Casting News - October 4, 2017

CBS' NCIS; FOX's L.A. to Vegas; Starz's Power; and TNT's One Day She'll Darken.

CBS' NCIS
  • Pauley Perrette is leaving the long-running procedural at the end of its current 15th season, the actress announced today. She has played forensic specialist Abby Sciuto on the drama since its 2003 debut. She is one of only three remaining original cast members, alongside Mark Harman and David McCallum.
FOX's L.A. TO VEGAS
  • You're the Worst star Kether Donohue has booked a recurring role on the upcoming comedy starring Dylan McDermott. She will play Meghan, an attractive and flakey magician's assistant who likes being the center of attention and who is self-involved without a lot of self-awareness. She's the estranged wife of Colin (Ed Weeks), with whom she had a one-night stand and a son.
STARZ's POWER
  • After recurring throughout Season 4, Brandon Victor Dixon (Hamilton) has been promoted to series regular for the drama's upcoming fifth season. He plays Terry Silver, the attorney for Ghost (Omari Hardwick) and Tasha (Naturi Naughton).
TNT's ONE DAY SHE'LL DARKEN
  • Berlin Station star Leland Orser has joined the cast of the upcoming limited series starring Chris Pine. He will play Peter Sullivan, a night managing editor for the LA Times, a survivor with his own little fiefdom, the type that works out of bars and shuns the office. He's been in newspapers his whole life, and still loves it, although he's been forced into extreme cynicism, high-functioning alcoholism, rampant black humor and at times despair that no one else sees. He's seen it all, nothing about human frailty or depravity truly surprises him anymore, but under the cynicism he still believes in what he's doing, that the news has a vital role in society. Deep at his core, he carries hope for the truth - even though he's seen it fail to change anything a million times.
