Netflix has renewed its original drama series Mindhunter for a second season, it was announced today on the show's Twitter page.
Set in 1977, the drama follows agents in the serial crime unit as they interview and study a string of well-known violent offenders in an attempt to find answers, ultimately classifying the serial killer term.
The drama stars Jonathan Groff, Holt McCallany, Hannah Gross, Cotter Smith and Anna Torv.
Joe Penhall created the drama based on the novel Mindhunter: Inside the FBI's Elite Serial Crime Unit. He executive produces with David Fincher, Charlize Theron, Beth Kono, Ceán Chaffin and Joshua Donen. Denver and Delilah Productions produces.
