Development News - Christine Lahti and April Bowlby to Co-Star on FOX's 'Gone Baby Gone' Remake; Plus 4 More Updates!

  • Christine Lahti and April Bowlby have been cast on the drama pilot starring Joseph Morgan. Lahti won an Emmy Award for her role in CBS' Chicago Hope and an Academy Award for her short film Lieberman in Love. Bowlby starred for six seasons in Lifetime's Drop Dead Diva.
  • She will play Antonia, Angie's politician mother.
  • Bowlby will play Renee, Angie's sister.
  • Sarah Jones is set as the female lead on the drama pilot starring Walton Goggins and Brian J. Smith. She starred for one season in Hulu's The Path, the short-lived USA drama Damnation and the History miniseries Texas Rising.
  • She will play Lynn, a sharp Veronica Lake-like beauty, an aspiring Hollywood actress and not one to compromise her principles. When she finds a best friend brutally murdered and Jack Vincennes (Goggins) unexpectedly at the scene before she's had time to call the police, she knows she has something on the detective - and decides to use it to help solve the horrible crime.
  • Anna Wood and Ato Essandoh have booked series regular roles on the drama pilot starring Dave Annable. Wood starred in the first season of USA's Falling Water and CBS' short-lived drama Reckless. Essandoh starred in Netflix's Altered Carbon and has recurred for two seasons in NBC's Chicago Med.
  • Wood will play Major Maya Dobbins, a lead defense attorney for the Judge Advocate Corps. Fierce and fearless, she's experienced in court and never afraid to go up against one of her own, but that doesn't mean she won't be a team player if it means finding the truth.
  • Essandoh will play Major Trey Ferry. Southern, stolid and wise, he prefers to let his actions do the talking - but if a dialogue is required, he'll proudly demonstrate his impressive eloquence and tact. As an active duty Marine and a lawyer at Quantico, he pursues suspects with ferocity but makes sure his own people are held accountable.
  • Cindy Luna has landed a series regular role on the drama pilot starring Harriet Dyer and Yusef Gatewood. She will appear in a recurring role on the upcoming season of TNT's The Last Ship.
  • She will play Detective Jacey Vasquez, a young detective on the LAPD homicide squad eager to learn everything she can and eventually make her mark.
  • Leigh-Ann Rose will co-star on the drama pilot starring Amirah Vann. She starred for two seasons in OWN's Love Thy Neighbor.
  • She will play Nicole Kendrick, an attractive, fit, strong-willed and tough detective in the NYPD.
