Development News - Ryan Eggold to Star in David Schulner's NBC Pilot; Madeleine Mantock Boards 'Charmed'; Plus 10 More Updates!

ABC's A Million Little Things, False Profits, Grand Hotel, Salvage & Untitled Tim Doyle; CBS' I Mom So Hard; The CW's Charmed & Roswell; FOX's Our People; and NBC's Like Family, Suspicion & Untitled David Schulner.




NBC's UNTITLED DAVID SCHULNER PROJECT
  • Ryan Eggold will play the male lead on the drama pilot written by David Schulner. He starred for four and a half seasons of NBC's The Blacklist and toplined the short-lived spinoff, The Blacklist: Redemption.
  • He will play Max Hollander, who is driven to the point of exhausting himself and everyone around him, including his wife who recently separated from him. An internist, he has just been hired as medical director at Bellevue Hospital, which he's going to restore to its former glory or get kicked out trying.
ABC's GRAND HOTEL
  • Wendy Raquel Robinson and Shalim Ortiz will co-star on the drama pilot starring Demián Bichir and Roselyn Sanchez. Robinson starred in nine seasons of The CW/BET comedy The Game. Ortiz has appeared in the telenovelas Una Maid en Manhattan and Señora Acero.
  • Robinson will play Mrs. P, a lovable, no nonsense staff manager at the hotel.
  • Ortiz will play Mateo, the Director of Guest Experiences at the hotel who knows every guest by name.
ABC's UNTITLED TIM DOYLE PROJECT
  • Sawyer Barth has joined the comedy pilot starring Michael Cudlitz and Mary McCormack. He appeared in a recurring role on TNT's Public Morals.
  • He will play Frank, a snitch who is smug and overly concerned with "the rules."
THE CW's CHARMED
  • Madeleine Mantock has been cast as the third lead on the drama pilot reboot starring Melonie Diaz and Sarah Jeffery. She starred for two seasons in AMC's Into the Badlands and one season in The CW's The Tomorrow People.
  • She will play Macy, a practical, driven and brilliant geneticist who has her world blown open when she discovers that the supernatural world is all too real.
NBC's SUSPICION
  • Jeri Ryan has booked a series regular role on the drama pilot starring Derek Luke. She starred for four seasons in UPN's Star Trek: Voyager, three seasons in FOX's Boston Public and three seasons in ABC's Body of Proof. She has recently had a major recurring role on Amazon's Bosch.
  • She will play Celina Canter, Tom Canter's wife. She knows how to host the party to end all parties, but still manages to stay humble and down to earth.
ABC's FALSE PROFITS
  • Vanessa Williams has landed a series regular role on the drama pilot starring Bellamy Young. Her casting brings her back to ABC after starring in Ugly Betty and Desperate Housewives. She recently toplined the short-lived VH1 drama Daytime Divas.
  • She will play Suzanne, the chief of a successful tribe of saleswomen who wants to add Laura (Young) to her cluster of money-making devotees. She dangles the prospect of a fabulous income in front of Laura but becomes mercilessly competitive the moment that Laura starts her own tribe of three.
CBS' I MOM SO HARD
  • Tymberlee Hill is set as a series regular on the comedy pilot written by and starring Kristin Hensley and Jen Smedley. She starred in NBC's one-season comedy Marry Me and has recurred on TBS' Search Party and Comedy Central's Drunk History.
  • She will play Janice, who works at a discount superstore while she gets her law degree. She loves her customers and knows them by name. She makes her job fun with her sense of humor.
ABC's SALVAGE
  • Lacretta has been cast as a series regular on the drama pilot starring Toby Kebbell and Jim Belushi. Her guest credits include FOX's Gotham, NBC's Law & Order: SVU and Comedy Central's Broad City.
  • She will play Bouncy, Jimmy's (Kebbell) closest confidante and the owner of the local bar at the marina where Jimmy and everyone eats and drinks.
FOX's OUR PEOPLE
  • Beth Behrs will play the female lead on the comedy pilot written by Vali Chandrasekaran. She starred for six seasons in CBS' 2 Broke Girls opposite Kat Dennings (who booked the female lead on an untitled ABC comedy pilot this development cycle).
  • She will play Jenny, a Midwestern firecracker and Abel's fiancée.
THE CW's ROSWELL
  • Nathan Parsons, Tyler Blackburn, Lily Cowles, Michael Vlamis and Heather Hemmens will star in the drama pilot reboot starring Jeanine Mason.
  • Parsons (The Originals) will play Max, a natural born leader and dedicated Roswell police officer who for years has concealed his origin and unearthly abilities.
  • Blackburn (Pretty Little Liars) will play Sergeant Alex Manes, who is returning home from the Middle East after experiencing his fair share of psychological and physical trauma and aims to adhere to his father's expectations, abandoning his dreams and the possibility of a future with the man he loves.
  • Cowles (BrainDead) will play Isobel, the polished and restrained woman who wasn't meant for small-town life, but she lives it with all the grace and enthusiasm she can muster in order to keep her true origins a secret.
  • Vlamis (VlamCarter) will play Michael, a troubled but brilliant man who survived a violent childhood and is now secretly driven to find a way to escape Earth and the humans who have failed him, to return to a mysterious home he's never known.
  • Hemmens (If Loving You Is Wrong) will play Maria, Liz's (Mason) fun, free-spirited former best friend and social media maven who is oblivious to the realities of Roswell.
ABC's A MILLION LITTLE THINGS
  • Allison Miller has joined the cast of the drama pilot starring David Giuntoli, James Roday and Romany Malco. She starred in Syfy's one season drama Incorporated and has an arc on the upcoming second season of Netflix's 13 Reasons Why.
  • She will play Maggie, who is amazing and comfortable in her own skin. She's a therapist and her career and her life are focused on the emotional.
NBC's LIKE FAMILY
  • Rebecca Mader will co-star on the comedy pilot starring Brandon Mychal Smith. She starred in two seasons of ABC's Lost and has appeared in five seasons of ABC's Once Upon a Time.
  • She will play Camille, who will do absolutely anything to stay young and beautiful. She writes a rich lady type blog, makes rich lady candles, has rich lady friends and rich lady problems.
