Amazon Cancels 'Mozart in the Jungle' After 4 Seasons

Amazon has opted to cancel its original comedy series Mozart in the Jungle after four seasons. The show released its final episodes on February 16, 2018.






The comedy starred Gael Garcia Bernal, Lola Kirke, Saffron Burrows, Hannah Dunne, Bernadette Peters and Malcolm McDowell.

Roman Coppola, Jason Schwartzman, Alex Timbers and Paul Weitz developed the series based on Blair Tindall's memoir of the same name. They executive produce with Will Graham. Amazon Studios produced.

"We are so proud of the four seasons we made of this show and are grateful to the cast, crew, fans and Amazon for writing this symphony with us. We hope people will keep finding the show for years to come," said Weitz, Coppola, Schwartzman and Graham in a statement.
