USA NEW PILOT ORDERS
  • BRIARPATCH (Drama) - Written by Andy Greenwald (Legion). Directed by Yann Demange. Executive produced by Greenwald, Demange, Sam Esmail and Chad Hamilton. Produced by Universal Cable Productions, Paramount Television, Esmail Corp and Anonymous Content. Loglined: Based on the novel by Ross Thomas, Allegra Dill is a dogged investigator who returns to her border-town Texas home after her sister is murdered by a car bomb. What begins as a search for a killer turns into an all-consuming fight to bring the corrupt hometown Allegra thought she left behind to its knees.
  • DARE ME (Drama) - Written by Megan Abbott. Executive produced by Abbott, Gina Fattore, Peter Berg, Michael Lombardo, Sarah Condon and Karen Rosenfelt. Produced by Universal Cable Productions and Film 44. Logline: Based on the novel by Abbott, the drama is an unflinching exploration of volatile female friendships, jealousy, loyalty and the dynamics of power in a small Midwestern town. Peering behind the all-American facade, the series dives into the cutthroat world of competitive high school cheerleading, following the fraught relationship between two best friends after a new coach arrives to bring their team to prominence.

Produced by Universal Cable Productions, Imperative Entertainment and Captivate Entertainment. Logline: Set in the Jason Bourne universe, the drama explores the origin story and present-day actions of a CIA black ops program known as Treadstone - a covert operation that uses behavior modification protocol to turn its agents into nearly unstoppable superhuman assassins. It follows sleeper agents across the globe as they're mysteriously "awakened" to resume their deadly missions.

Logline: 15 years ago, ex-lovers made a pact that if they ever needed to escape life, they could send each other a simple text message - "RUN" - and impulsively disappear together. This is their story.
