A month after the second season debuted, Netflix has renewed its original drama series Jessica Jones for a third season. A premiere date window was not immediately announced.
In its second season, the drama starred Krysten Ritter, Rachael Taylor, Eka Darville, J.R. Ramirez, Terry Chen, Leah Gibson, Carrie-Anne Moss and Janet McTeer.
Melissa Rosenberg developed the drama based on the Marvel comic book character. She executive produces with Allie Goss, Kris Henigman, Cindy Holland, Alan Fine, Stan Lee, Joe Quesada, Dan Buckley, Jim Chory, Jeph Loeb, Karim Zreik, Brian Michael Bendis and Raelle Tucker. Marvel Television, ABC Studios and Tall Girls Productions produce.
The 13-episode second season was released on March 8, 2018 with every episode being helmed by a female director.
