Just two weeks after debuting on the streaming service, Netflix has renewed its original comedy series Alexa & Katie for a second season.
The comedy stars Paris Berelc, Isabel May, Tiffani Thiessen, Eddie Shin, Emery Kelly, Finn Carr and Jolie Jenkins.
Heather Wordham created the comedy. She executive produces with Matthew Carlson. The series is the first comedy produced solely by Netflix.
The renewal news comes just days after the streamer opted to cancel the similarly-themed, high-school set comedy Everybody Sucks after one season. That cancellation occurred almost two months after the episodes debuted.
