Casting News - Corbin Bernsen and Annette O'Toole Join 'The Punisher'; Sakina Jaffrey to Recur on 'American Gods'

NETFLIX's THE PUNISHER
  • Corbin Bernsen and Annette O'Toole have joined the cast of the drama's upcoming second season. Bernsen starred for eight seasons in NBC's L.A. Law and eight seasons in USA's Psych. O'Toole starred for two seasons in CBS' Nash Bridges and six seasons in The WB's Smallville.
  • Bernsen will play Anderson Schultz, an extremely wealthy man who's grown accustomed to getting his way. His power and legacy are of prime importance, and he'll implement less-than-legal means to further those ends.
  • O'Toole will play Eliza Schultz, Anderson's equally manipulative, conniving and wealthy wife.
STARZ's AMERICAN GODS
  • Sakina Jaffrey has been cast in a recurring role on the drama's upcoming second season. She starred for two seasons in Netflix's House of Cards and is currently a series regular on NBC's Timeless.
  • She will play Mama-Ji. Now a waitress at the Motel America, she is a Hindu goddess of war. With her necklace of skulls, acerbic wit and free spirit, she's a match for any mighty god or man.
